What you're booking.

Coastal Seatrucking runs one boat: the Inlet Raider, a landing craft. A landing craft has a ramp in the bow instead of a pointed bow, so she can come up to a beach, put the ramp down, and let trucks and machines drive straight off.

Her numbers: 98 feet long, a 14-foot bow ramp, an open deck 64 by 17 feet, and 100 tons of cargo. Two long-reach hydraulic cranes aboard for what can't drive on. Twelve to fourteen knots, 24-hour service, refit in 2016.

Tell us about the load and Bill will tell you whether it fits.

Will it fit?

If it can drive on or be lifted on, ask.

Most loads come aboard one of two ways: they drive up the 14-foot bow ramp under their own power, or they are lifted on. Trucks and loaders drive.

The deck is 64 feet by 17 feet and she carries up to 100 tons, so the question is usually the shape of your load and where it has to land. Tell us about the load and Bill will tell you.
